I wanted to post a link for this, one of my favourite Marx Bros. film scenes, a few months ago, when everyone was talking about them, but it wasn't on Youtube back then. Anyway, I've just noticed it's now available, so enjoy:

I love that scene. I think I'm going to go watch Night at the Opera right now.
Everything The Marx Brothers did was comedy gold as far as I'm concerned. Even when they weren't at their best, they're still better than everyone else.
Have you heard the adaptations of their radio show, currently running on BBC 7 "Flywheel, Shyster and Flywheel"?
No. Never. Good stuff I'd bet.

The BBC adaptations are brilliant! The actors sound just like the real thing. Plus Spike Milligan guest stars in one episode.
It was the scene where Groucho and Chico tear up the contracts.
What's a sanity clause?
Just showed my fiancee 'Night at the Opera' for the first time. She thought it was pretty funny. She just didn't like the opera singing. 
She also bought me 'Hello I Must Be Going' for my birthday last month.

You obviously haven't seen The Big Store then. 
I didn't like A Night in Casablanca that much either.
I recently watched Duck Soup and thought it was funny. Especially for something that was out in the early 30s. I can hardly watch any pre-1970s films.
I'd always read that Groucho was a massive influence on Woody Allen, but I didn't realise how much until I saw Duck Soup! The delivery and one liners are almost identical.
Anyway, which Marx Bros. film should I watch next?

Woody Allen is a good example but pretty well every comedian takes from the Marx Brothers. Even (and especially) Bugs Bunny cartoons.
The next best is probably 'Night at the Opera' but my favourite is still 'A Day at the Races'.
After 'A Day at the Races' though the quality went down. But here's my list:
1# Duck Soup
2# A Day at the Races
3# Night at the Opera (many would consider this their best film though)
4# Monkey Business
5# Animal Crackers
Those are the 'must' see Marx Brothers movies in my opinion. I love them all but really besides their first two pictures with MGM studios (my # 2 and 3), the other late movies are really only for Marx Brothers fans to enjoy....maybe not even Big Store it really wasn't very good at all.
Also go YouTube and check out some other shows (like game shows and talk shows) Grocho happened to be on. He's almost always funny except in his most elderly times when he started getting a little bitter about growing old.
Are their films not out of copyright yet?
