Escalators not working. It's really discombobulating having to walk down one when you know it should be moving.
(Conversely, I hate people walking down ones that are moving. Why? What are they in such a hurry about?)

Well I walk down them as I'm catching trains and tubes.
In general I get annoyed by people who don't get the system of one side for standing and the other for walking. So annoying.

That's me. I always make sure I block the entire escalator just to slow the bastards down (unless they're a bit scary looking, then I step aside).
Just push them down the escalator.
