Your reactions to this have been interesting. The initial post was semi serious. A close friend of mine came to me with the same question last weekend. I just thought if I mentioned in my initial post that the question came from a friend you would all assume it was me anyway so thought I may as well ask the question as myself.
He decided against shagging the "rough" girl by the way, or so he told me. Although he did just text me and cancel having a few beers with me tonight so who knows!

I only jumped in because reverse sexism and internet white knights are personal bugbears of mine. Well hypocrisy in all it's forms actually.
I've not been on a horse for years. This is my subtle hint for a pony.

No they haven't.

No it wasn't.
Quote: john lucas 101 @ April 1 2009, 1:51 PM BSTBloody hell, not another one! Can anybody on here who isn't real or possibly another aspect of somebody who is, please make themselves known, as it makes it much, much easier to know when to be outraged, etc.
I'm part of Slag A's warped imagination and his excuse to wear a dress.

If he hadn't we wouldn't all be having this discussion Aaron.

You're the one who turned it round to that. It wasn't in his original post.
Quote: Kenneth @ April 1 2009, 1:21 PM BSTChivalry is merely a man's inclination to protect a woman from every man but himself.
Ooh, I like that.
Me too!
That's a good quote! Is it from anything?
Sod protecting women, I need protecting from myself.

Surely they're, sorry, you're real?

I can't immediately recall where it's from - apart from one of the many dictionaries of quotations on my desk. I've been using it for years. Googling provides the answer:
Chivalry - A man's inclination to protect a woman from every man but himself.
Brian Johnston
from "The Cynic's Dictionary" (Aubrey Dillon-Malone)
Another memorable quote was this old English proverb: A woman, a spaniel, a walnut tree, the more they're beaten the better they be.
Er yeah, you lost the room there. Well done.
