Poor Lord Meldrum, he only came on here for some relationship advice and you're all set to physically mutilate the man.
If a woman posted on here saying she fancied two men, all the female posters (and some of the male) would have waded in with overwhelmingly positive, girl power, right on sister helpful advice.
It's political correctness gone mad!
P.S. I know Lord Meldrum's post is probably a wind up, but the over reaction on here has made me chuckle.
If it was the case that his just couldn't decide between them then yes but the issue isn't the fact he likes two girls, it's the way he refered to them that people here are very uncomfortable with as if they didn't come with feelings. Not to sound "right on sister" but there is nothing so hurtful and confidence destroying to a woman than finding out that someone you slept with doesn't even find you attractive and probably thought you were an easier lay because of it, it's a horrible thing to do to anyone. Also, if a woman did post that on this forum, you'd get the same reaction on here. There are not that many regular female posters here for a start and most of the replies on this thread are from male posters.
He probably is joking but in case he isn't, I think people just want to point out (myself included) that it's a bad habit to view a human being, male or female, that way and help him nip it in the bud.

Ah. Well if it's a joke he's still just as bad. There's no skill to trolling on the internet.
Quote: SlagA @ March 31 2009, 10:12 PM BSTElliot nailed this. Kudos. A credit to his generation (Scatz included). If only the other buggers were as worthy of oxygen.

I agree. Don't dehumanise people that way. It's not nice, and you wouldn't want it done to you.

Ah, you misunderstood my motive, Renegade. I was speaking from bitter experience. It's easier to live a-genitalia and never face Meldrum's conundrum than to face life, and all its hassles, with parts that just clutter your underpants.

Meldrum has no "conundrum"...
Meldrum is a fantasist

Ruby and Slag,
I can totally see your valid points of view, but as Lord Meldrum's conundrum is a fictious post designed to illicit a reaction, I fear your wasting your time with trying to show him the error of his ways.
I only jumped in because reverse sexism and internet white knights are personal bugbears of mine. Well hypocrisy in all it's forms actually.
As for physical congress without feelings - there are plenty of people who've slept with physically attractive members of the opposite sex who were severely lacking in the brain / personality department and 'used' them just for gratification. As Johnny Cash once sang: If you're gonna be dumb, then you've gotta be tough.
Obviously, I don't apply to the above criteria because I'm so lovely and romantic and shit. Speaking of which, I have my own relationship conundrum -
Which mail order bride should I marry? Thai, Indian or Russian? Thai girls make nice food and don't take up much space, the Russians are good for heavy lifting and can take a punch and if I get tired of the Indian chick, I can always take her out back and set her on fire. Decisions, decisions.

Hypocrite, yes. But Internet White Knight, never, Sir. I'm more pale peach serf.

Chivalry is merely a man's inclination to protect a woman from every man but himself.

We're all hypocrites to some degree or another, and anybody who says different is a hypocrite.

Bloody hell, not another one! Can anybody on here who isn't real or possibly another aspect of somebody who is, please make themselves known, as it makes it much, much easier to know when to be outraged, etc.
