on Kevin Eldon.

Good stuff!

There was one line that Kevin Eldon said in the Village People sketch that really made me laugh, but I can't remember it now....

What was it?

Still loving it. I enjoy the silences eg the audience thinking as I did - that he probably didn't go to weight watchers but he does look a bit chunky these days.

And his son being told off by tannoy about entering the games zone of a service station, despite being under two and probably not understanding the complex gaming laws of this country or having any real source of income or being able to reach the controls.

I keep missing the red button bit so hopefully they'll be a DVD at the end of the series!

When he said – 'I hate agreeing with racists out of politeness

Yes!! That was very funny.

They did have a date on Play, but have since removed it.

Was slightly disapointed with this episode.

Did enjoy the Red Indian eating his pork pie in the layby though.

Could it have been the line about the Village People carrying on to all hours of the night, last night it was 11.20, I have to go to bed at 8.30?

That certainly registered on my chuckleometer. :D

Wasn't people using the phrase when it didn't make sense his point?

If it was, then he didn't talk about political correctness at all. (Although, I suppose he didn't anyway.)

Then if he comes out with a decent joke he repeats it, over and over, deconstructing it, over and over

Was there any repetition last night? I don't recall.

That explains why it was funny then!

Well the phrase 'political correctness gone mad' is meaningless anyway and how anyone uses it these days with no hint of irony astounds me. It is used as an excuse for every little thing or problem people have and I think that was the point Lee was making, that the phrase is useless, often used in the wrong context or to hide prejudice views and I think he made the point well. It was nice to see an anti-anti-PC message on television anyway!

:)

Armando Red-button interviews also live on YouTube

"Kofi Anan, coffee and a naan, coffee and a naan.. look into my eyes.. you will soon fall asleep..."
