Those big comedy 'moments' Page 4

I love the Black Books episode when Bernard and Manny try to write a kids book.

Yes, that is a great scene, as is the one wear Bernard and Manny make some wine in a Frankenstein-style.

I like the Abba song and dance routine in Knowing Me, Knowing You.

Interestingly, I can't think of many great "moments" from American shows that I love. Although I do think the scenes with Martin Short playing Unckle Jack in "Ready, Aim, Marry Me!" are pure unadulterated comedy genius.

One of my other favourite moments is in The Office, The Staff Quiz one were Finchy is being mean to Brent: Something like...

FINCHY:
Go on then tell him who you said was the leader of Cuba!

Brent bullied by Finchy is forced to admit his answer had been "Fray Bentos"

Comedy Gold!!!

My favourite Office moment is in the training day episode, where Brent role-plasys and tells the trainer there's been a rape in one of the rooms.

Another favourite moment of mine is the scene in Green Wing in which Statham eats a gall bladder. The brilliant scene with a great punch line at the end.

I know this has been said many times before, but I do like Guy's big organ in that series. :D

I only realised the other day when listening to Dale's Pick of the Pops on Radio 2 that the song he sings about Mac's son is to the tune of Bright Eyes.

"It's a vital organ!"

Kenny Everett as Spiderman needing the toilet and as Rod Stewart.

That man was a genius - loved Gizzard Puke.

Is there a 'not' missing?

Yes. I've missed the "n't" haven't I.

Carry on.

Statham's got too many brilliant moments: the gall bladder, stealing a Snickers bar, hitting the 'wolf' with a ping-pong ball, banging his head on the desk to avoid Joanna's bag

But my favourite is when Harriet breaks up with Lyndon and Statham says something like "Popped your winky up her yet, have you?", and the fall and noise he makes after Lyndon punches him is hilarious. Laughing out loud

All hail Mark Heap! :D

I don't wish to be a killjoy, but most people who've posted have quite understood the thread . . .

:(
