Thanks, all. Liked the conga line and the follow up suggestions especially.

I liked it. In an already-difficult market to sell in, I can't imagine where you'd send this though!
(Aren't Black Lace re-releasing 'Agadoo' sometime? Or is that a *really* bad dream, I had..?)

Why this has stuck in mind I don't know but I remember looking in the chart listings and seeing that Agadoo was still in the Top 50 at Christmas '84 having been released in May. Is this in any worse than Bryan Adams?

WHOOOAH! How spooky is this?

The video for Agadoo (Mambo 2009 remix) was directed by Bruce Jones, who played Coronation Street's Les Battersby.
Actor Jones also appears in the video along with fellow former Coronation Street actor Kevin Kennedy, who played Curly Watts in the soap.

I'll take that as a 'Yes' then...

So I've written something topical? Had to happen eventually I suppose. Even if it was by accident.
I got it. (Mind you I was a Pontins Bluecoat in '94)
It's a great idea for a sketch but I wonder if they are any more (ahem) contemporary party dances you could use?
Probably not - the sketch only works with those specific instructions like in the Superman song. Hmmm....damn shame, it's a lovely quickie. And I'm fond of a lovely quickie.

Oh, but Black Lace are contemporary. Didn't you read the news?

Surely Superman can only be a step behind...
