It's nuts that it was nominated then surely.

Well, it's surely supposed to be going on quality, not quantity.

Was it that outstanding an episode? Or was there just bugger all else that was in any way half decent all year?

The categories are actually strange to me anyway. TV Burp is clearly a comedy show and should be included in this category imo. Might make it seem slightly stronger if they did include shows of that ilk.

Well I really liked it. But yes, there weren't that many other shows that I can think of to pick from.

If Peep Show doesn't win it's a crime. Mitchell all the way!

Moved to General. :)

If Outnumbered doesn't win in every category it's nominated, it's a crime. Ramona all the way!

If The Wire doesn't win the International award I'll eat my own hand.

Stiff competition from Dexter, but I agree.

And even stiffer competition from Mad Men, I would say.

For me, the crime will be if QI doesn't win. Fry all the way!

She should have been nominated for best comedy performance.

The papers have already written angry articles and reported interviews with Andrew Sachs' family about Jonathan Ross getting a nomination.

It does seem a tad un-fair to nominate David Mitchell but not co-star Robert Webb. Mitchell is a comedy hero of mine, however even I'll admit that Webb is probably the better actor in Peep Show (as Mitchell is a bit like Mark in real life).

That'll soon change, now he's raised his profile with his amusing dancing!

Totally what I was just going to say.
