I *loathe* bad spelling and text speak if it can be avoided. I hate Americanisms. It actually hurts my eyes to read it and it doesn't sound right at all. ALL letters in a word are important and make the sound and tone of a word. Its a beautiful language that we have. It will evolve, butthat's no reason to trash it and throw away the subtleties that it contains.
