IN HEAVEN, THREE ANGELS ARE GATHERED AROUND A T.V WATCHING THE HEAVENLY VERSION OF BIG BROTHER.

SAINT PETER (PRESENTER): Hello Limbo, this is Saint Peter, you are live across the universe…please do not swear. Jade! The celestial realm has voted you out! Get your things, I'm coming to get you!

ANGEL 1: These big brother phone lines are getting worse and worse. I voted to get her out 3 years ago!

ANGEL 2: Don't look at me, I voted for the other one…what's his name? Urmm…(REMEMBERING) Patrick Swayze.

ANGEL 3: I voted for Des Lynam…

ANGEL 1: I wonder where she is going to stay?

F.X. DOORBELL RINGS

ANGEL 2: Anyone expecting anyone?

ANGEL 1: I'm expecting Emilio Estevez…

ANGEL 3: But he's not dead…

ANGEL 1: Urr well all I know is I'm still waiting on Mighty Ducks 4…

THE DOOR OPENS

JADE: Hellooo Angles! Holy poppadom! This place is sooo white n' shiny!

Nice idea, I'm not sure about the Emilio Estevez bit though.

I didn't really get the references to Des Lynam and Swayze but maybe because I'm not in the U.K.

I guess Swayze was mentioned because he could die soon due to his illnesses...and Lynam?

Mmmm, didn't work for me and not 'cos of the too soon Jade sketch, simply 'cos I didn't find it funny.

Some thoughts from me...

when I read 'Hello Limbo' I thought it was the name of a contestants on Big Brother.

not sure about Emilio Estevez either...

I think it's a good idea, perhaps needs more about Jade's arrival, covered by 'Halo' magazine?

I always think - and I might be completely wrong - that if you are going to do a sketch that is in dubious taste it has to be very funny. Get people to laugh at a topic they would think they wouldn't find amusing.

But, as Random says, the sketch doesn't really work because it's a weak joke. Jade once got voted off a reality TV show - she's died, so let's change that to being voted off work. Obvious and weak I'm afraid.

I thought of a much better Jade joke, but I think I'll leave it!

Hey! Yeah it's great someone is dead, there's got to be a quick gag in there somewhere. But I don't know, it's not as if I am really putting this out there myself, let me know if I am joining in something I might think is wrong! But hey like cancer you have to laugh don't you! Cos like comedy is making a point isn't it! Hmmm where can I sell this?

V.good. I loved the last line especially - made me laugh, and toes curled. Eden, don't worry about whether it's too soon for this kind of thing. In fact, I wonder if we should all get working on Margaret Thatcher jokes - it won't be long now (and, boy, am I getting impatient). If you're conscience is bothering you about Jade Goody, just join the rest of the nation at 12 today as we shut our maaahffs! for one minute.
