The phrase "Oh dear" springs to mind.
Doctor Who... Page 281
I'd just like to nail my colors firmly to the mast here by stating that I think Ecclestone was much better than Tennant (the latter has become so tedious, not helped by scripts where other characters are always sacrificng themselves to help defeat evil). Regardless, great kudos to Russell T. Davies for the great resurrection.
And Curt, K-9 has already had his own spin-off, K-9 and Company, which only made it to the pilot stage, back in about 1981. It was released on DVD last year. It's nice if you love K-9 and Lis Sladen. This newest remake that you've posted the link to - somehow the promotional spiel reminds me of the Disney Channel's new Famous Five cartoon.
I have no love for that cold metal canine....or Lis Sladen for that matter.
K-9 is... not worth his own show.
He's just a metal Basil Brush.
It's funny how times have changed, Sarah & K9 had their own failed pilot show in 1981 - 28 years ago! And now they're back. To fans of 20th century Who, it's very strange to see it happening.

I like the way this man thinks. Ecclestone was far superior, just look at the performance in The Empty Child/Doctor Dances. He played off Jack and Rose brilliantly, his darker side (Dalek) and his rage were just that little bit more intense. He also seemed a bit more fallible - willing to condemn the Dalek to death in revenge for the death of Gallifrey, only being pulled back at the last minute by Rose's compassion, which I liked. Tennant was absolutely brilliant (sorry), but Ecclestone was just a more interesting Doctor. There, I'ver said it.
Don't forget "Father's Day." That's one of the best episodes.
I always liked the partnership between Nine and Rose. Rose & Ten had the strongest bond, but it wasn't the best one. And I know I've posted this before: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oYoLG_iP9Ec But it's still fantastic.
Very true. Happy endings aren't always possible, and Dr Who does this brilliantly. Like Father's Day and Family of Blood - world saved, but someone has to pick up the pieces. Matt Smith has some work cut out for him.
"The BBC Press Office has confirmed that the Doctor Who special 'Planet of the Dead' will air during the week beginning 11th April."
I also saw Steven Moffat on Wednesday.

You might never here this from me again, but I envy you Aaron!
To me, Doctor who is a marvel! A true ray of light which emanates from wondrous minds and shines forth out into the world, giving joy to millions as it makes it upwards, rising up into the firmament like a bright shimmering star! And I mean that whole heartedly.
I hope it's on a Sunday. I only say this because Robin Hood & Primeval are also on. Pus, this week they're already clashing by 15 minutes this week! Grr!
I heard it was on Easter Sunday. But that could be wrong I guess.
I think it could actually be a Saturday, because it was briefly listed there on the Press Office website (or somewhere similar) before being put as the week beginning 11th April.
