I hate Twitter. Shock! Horror!

I can't stand it. I did try to set up an account but it wouldn't let me do bugger all to update anything, kept telling me they were just soooo busy they couldn't do what I asked it to do and the site is about as easy as the Krypton factor so I deleted myself. And now Facebook are trying to copy them. ARGH. I still prefer my myspace. Say what you like about it but I have NEVER once had a problem with them. Facebook have given me issues in the past....my account was hacked into and they sent that dodgy clip out in place of my cute puppies remember and the customer service support are very on the rude side.

Anyone else have issues with social network sites? I tried Bebo too but ended up with loads of random requests from porn stars so I deleted that too.

I never get random requests from porn stars...not fair! Teary

They were all Japanese women which was a bit wierd.

Twitter is quite dull. I only use it because it amuses me reading what some celebrities are doing. It's almost like rubbish legalised stalking.

I liked MySpace but I've kind of...grown out of it? I don't know how to explain it. I don't go on it much now. I liked the old Facebook, the new one is horrible, I agree they are trying to turn it into Twitter and make it all about the status updates which is ridiculous.

I tried Twitter for about 10 minutes and didn't know what was going on. So I left.

I don't understand it either. How do you make comments? Can they see the comments? If they answer them do they come to your page or stay on theirs? F**k knows.
Am still on it though.

It's worth it just for Tony Gardner's updates. He's hilarious.

I use it but maybe not as much as I did. In the early days it was fairly random stuff I'd post but now I make announcements regarding my business blog which gets me extra traffic.

It really depends how you use it. No-one really cares that you've had a cup of tea but if you use it in conjunction with a business there are benefits to be had. It's a quick way to get a message to your 'customers' which may take longer by other means.

I don't understand why people delete accounts. If you don't want to use it ... just don't. Deleting an account only leaves you open to imposters. And as sad as that sounds, I've seen it happen.

All we got when we set up the myspace was requests from wannabe models and porn stars. Just linked to the Suicide Girls, though. That sort of perviness appealed to us.

I think you are already my friend on myspace!

See I'm a whore on myspace, I'll add anyone.

(Well to that account anyway.....)

All my friend requests are scrutinised thoroughly. Usual time in the request bin 2 weeks. Normally because I can't be arsed to accept or, I don't know them.

I recently had a problem with some kid claiming to be me and setting up a page with all my work from 4laughs. They've been dealt with though. Must have been some kid who reads the site I write for sometimes. Was wierd though. Also got someone on a dating site using my name (possibly the same person ) but that's all they have appeared to have nicked at least.

I won't add stores who request me anymore because I would get flooded with requests by people hoping I would mention them in an article which became very annoying. But I'm usually a yes person.

If a new band contact me, I will most likely add them if they are local or I generally like them. Other than that, if they're a comedian or writer, one of you guys, you're in. A lot of you already are, I just don't go online too often. The only computers I can get that works are at work, or at the library, the glorified typewriter I have at home just doesn't cut it.

Tweetdeck makes twitter easy:

It's definitely worth adding the Peep Show characters @Peepshow(written by Sam Bain and Jesse Armstrong), you can even chat to them if you want. :)

Tweet Deck is indeed coool
