Good Deed for the Day.

Lots of people say that every day, every single person should try to do something positive and good, no matter how small and seemingly insignificant that thing is. I'm bringing this up now because on the walk home, somebody had only half posted a letter in the letter box, and so I pushed the letter in the rest of the way so that nobody took it out again. It seems like a silly thing, but all my friends were a bit confused as to why I felt the need to sort it out. The other one a while back was me moving a worm back onto the grass from a path in the park, which Elliot found very odd. Anyone else at least try to do this, or think about it after having done something?

I consider not going out and committing mass murder to be my good deed of any day.

I do move snails sometimes. Erm, I tipped a Ladybird the right way up the other day? It was waggling its little legs.

Aw, good work!
You is like the British Mother Theresa. ;)

I like to do the opposite, if only to negate the good you're doing.

But without the rags and wrinkles and that.

Did you tip that Ladybird upside down?

You fiend.

:( He probably tipped *all* the ladybirds upside down. It's like that dishes and domes game from primary school.

The what now?

:$ Did you not have to play that? Half the class has to make like flat-topped cones into domes, and the other half has to turn them back to be dishes. The team with the most cones their way up, wins.

One up on that German and the American psycho then?

That said the day is still young......

Nope. I do remember 'heads down, thumbs up', though.

:D We played that too!

Wave

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks it's important! My good deed today was to help a lady with a pram get it on the train this morning.

Pleased How did I guess it'd be you who thought about it too, Roo? Hug

It's a karma thing isn't it?

There is actually this thing they have in Japan where you keep a special diary and write a wish in the back and then you set about completing 100 good deeds to help other people and the idea is you log each one and once you get to 100, the universe rewards you with your wish!
