Very sad news indeed. Rest in Peace 'Yelly'

Yes very sad indeed and especially so as he was just getting some much deserved recognition via a major commission. Very nice guy, very helpful to everybody, a real 'Gentleman of Comedy'...

I'm very saddened to hear about Yeildings passing, he was a brilliant comedy writer and performer creating great things with a touch of a mouse.

Only emailing back and forth now and again I can't say I new him but he truely was the king of 4laughs and his commission was very well deserved.

RIP Yeilding (Scott Mitchell)

PS - Don't know if I'm blind but 4laughs haven't mentioned a thing.

Very sad news, I only knew him through his posts on 4Laughs, he always came across as a thoroughly nice guy who would help anyone. My sincerest sympathy to his family and friends. Kerry.

I really enjoyed his animations, and I think he was on his way to getting somewhere in the comedy world. A sad loss.

And people wonder why I don't go on the 4laughs forum anymore.

My condolences.

Yielding was a great 4Laugher and along with Ruby (TGS) one of the first to say hi to the new boys. I first knew of him from ComedySoup. He was a patient guy, was driven by his Aspergers into a mainly solitary but highly creative life, and had achieved his dream of landing a commission.

So talented, so young, so close to a dream.

RIP Scott. I'm sure that those of us who were touched by you (and your comedy) will take a part of your influence with us on our own seperate journeys.

4Laughs are pathetic, i was shocked to hear this. I was one of the first batch of people on 4Laughs and he was very popular and talented. He would have made it in my opinion he already had that commission.

I left 4Laughs a while ago but wouldn't want to go back now as Yielding made it his own and I'm leaving it at that out of respect. Plus the site and the judging are shit. Yielding made it easy for them as his stuff was obviously top stuff.

I'm gutted I won't be seeing more of his work.

very sad news. only spoke to him a couple of times over e-mail but seemed like a sincere and thouroughly nice guy. such a great comedy writer/ animator too.

Very sad, and shocking news. :(

How did he die?
