Not Going Out - Series 3 Page 52

Ergo nothing of the sort, read what I said in context of his comment re giving hope to wannabees! :)

It was telling people that they had no right to find something funny I found a little odd!

Mind you there were some really cracking lines in Holby back in the day! :)

As an aside - is there a sitcom/comedy show that is brilliant? Is there one that didn't overstay its welcome or have bits you'd were rather not in it? I like NGO and it's probably my favourite show at the moment, but I'm not blind to its misfires.
I think what's odd about the critical comments here are that they seem to be totally immune to the humour, whereas the show itself is 30 minutes of non-stop wisecracks and one-liners (unlike anything else on telly).

Before it went all wanky and unwatchable and filmed like some art project?

Sounds like an excellent idea for a new thread.

Neither have I. For those exact reasons!

Hmmm... Yes, Prime Minister went off a bit, but Minister is good, I'll agree to that. The others, it would be churlish to dispute :D

And I LOVE Holby City! It's the only other thing I watch! Geek

The trailers are quite sexy. :$

Even when they made the ginger lady look like a big spider?

She was all leather/PVC-clad.

She also has a stunningly beautiful face.

Is there a problem with that? :)

Well it's lovely of you to say so my dear. Perhaps I could take you out sometime and show you my...

Shit, you meant Lee Mack didn't you. Teary

I just want to hug you now, you know that? Hug

Not Going Out is superior to Black Books.

Don't make me choose Teary

I think Sally Breton is great for what its worth,

She's much better in this series. She's grown on me. The bum helped.
