After falling foul of the 10am deadline for 7on7, have just uploaded mine - decided it's better to not leave things quite so much to the last minute.
I'm really keen to get some gags on radio with this one. Have always seemed to be better at one-liners than sketches (although I'm working hard to improve the latter). Anyone else find that?
According to the writers room the deadline is March 9th. I submitted 4 sets of vox-pops to 4 different questions. I found the brief a bit confusing too.
It was a fun exercise though!
That's a shame they're only going to read the first set. My second one was my strongest, Gods dammitt (sorry been overdosing on the other BSG)
The version of the Writersroom post I read today implied that the doors would be open for the duration, and that March 9 is just the deadline for the first episode. Am I wrong?
I asked that when I sent mine in.
I would guess that they're waiting to see how much material gets submitted. If they end up with 15 thousand people sending material in, then I doubt they'll bother keeping the doors open!
Deadline has now passed and I was initially glad to have not heard anything as I know they have been dishing out some 'no thank you's'. Having been paying attention to the 7 on 7 thread though, it appears that not everyone got a response so this may be false hope. Then I realised I'd not had any response, not even an automated thanks for your submission we'll keep you posted. Did everyone else at least get an automated response?
No. I just got the personalised response originally and no auto-response (though I didn't put anything like '7 On 7' in the subject field).
But I've heard nothing since, so I don't know how this is supposed to help you in any way!
I've heard nothing as yet on TaNT either.
