The Tales of the Black Freighter stuff in the comic was so boring and obvious that I would skip it.

You must have loved the ornithology article.

I can't remember that, David, but as far as I recall I did read all the text pieces in all 12 issues, albeit back in 1985 when it came out. I think I'll re-read everything after I've seen the movie.

An old-style arcade video game starring the Minutemen. 16-bit goodness!

Laughing out loud Quality.

Just watched it!!! :D

I really enjoyed it. It was pretty faithful to the comic, and there were many scenes I could recognise as if looking at the page. I didn't even feel it was too long. I didn't miss the squid and, overall, was impressed with all the performances. Rorschach, as ever, is awesome.

Gets the thumbs up from me. :D

I liked it, suprisingly, weird, violent, kinky and cool.

And bizarrely faithful to the original comic.

Silk Spectre is sexxxy. :D

The Guardian gave it 3 stars and called it perhaps a "flawed masterpiece" and a "spectacle". The Daily Mail rated it a turkey, which given their reviewer, is a recommendation! I'm going to see it on Monday.

Watchmen Motion Comic Commercial

Is it a boy film though! I've been told girls will hate it! :( I'm not a typical girl though, and I enjoy porn and leather.

Nooo It'll be fine.
