Weird things you have read about. Page 63

I've been bitten by an alligator (twice, but by small gators) so I won't shed any tears (I won't say which kind) when the diner becomes dinner.

Laughing out loud Laughing out loud

I've been bitten by dogs, birds and ants but I don't intend to start eating them. :D

A croc/alligator will eat just about anything, it's what it does. Can't blame it for that. :)

Yep, it's what it does. :)

The story of the frog and the scorpion always makes me cry. Especially embarrassing when I'm telling others.

? Don't know that.

Tell us a story Nanny Slag! :D

Is that the Same as the bird and the bees?

Tell us a story Nanny Slag! :D

Hahaha

It's really well-know.

A scorpion wants to cross a river and asks a frog to take him across. The frog says "No, you'll sting me." The scorpion says, "I promise, I won't. I can't swim. If I sting you, I'll die." So the frog agrees. The scorpion gets on the frog's back and they go out into the river. Suddenly the scorpion stings the frog. As the frog is dying he says, "Why did you sting me? Now, we'll both die." And the scorpion, wailing at their plight, says, "I couldn't help it. It's in my nature."
Teary :)

Awww. Console Yeah, I remember that now. I think they based Frogger on it.

Very true though.

I read something weird about the actor Kenneth Cope the other day, Cope has recently been playing Jed Stone in Coronation Street. In the year 2000, Cope was diagnosed with terminal cancer, so he went home and basically waited to die. It was 2006 (6 years after the diagnosis) and Cope's health hadn't deteriorated and he was basically feeling well, so he went to the hospital again and was told there was nothing wrong with him.

Shit! How many emotions must he have felt when he was told that he was fine.

He went 6 years without any kind of test or visit with the doctor?

Yes well I was thinking about that just now lol, I fear this story may have been lifted directly from Wikipedia.

Hee. Fun.

Ha. I watched an interesting programme a few months ago about a 'vampire' princess in Austria, I think, who had been buried pretty much in secret and under loads of thick brickwork and concrete and such.

Oooooooooooooooooh!
