The Comedy Competition Sketch Show

I don't want to get too carried away, this is not a big collaborative project. It's just an idea at the moment.

So what I was and have been thinking is - we take all the best sketches from the BSG Comedy Comps and stick 'em together to form a whole sketch show episode.

Even though I thought about this months ago, David Chapman suggested this idea physically a while ago, so I'll let some credit and err leadership? fall on him. He's also now in charge of the comps.

The point of this thread is to sign yourself up to allow your sketches to be used, because I was thinking for some reason, some of you may not be cool with it.

If you don't sign your name here in this thread, all your sketches will be removed from this "project".

I'll gather all the sketches and through a process of elimination (somehow) we'll narrow them down to a 30 minute episode.

So please sign your name here to allow me to use your sketches.

This is not related to 'The Sketch Project' by the way.

Actually thinking aboutthis I've only (tied) first once and that was more geared for radio - but it's OK.

PS Try to do a sketch with Melanie C in it.

One with Mel C and a knotty piece of gnarled driftwood and after both perform a song-and-dance routine the audience have to guess which is the real Mel C?

I shall not rise to that.

:P :D

I've got one in there somewhere

I believe I've only ever done one that got no votes but - Hey! Why not!

ermm the sketch I mean...not the votes thing...I never took it bad anyway...I mean the no votes thing...kinda goes with the territory...so that's a yes then from me I think. Who's got the pen and where do I sign?

Oh...you'll love this old Lee & Herring sketch. http://youtube.com/watch?v=4UONfaeAXKE

Baumski.

OK, I haven't entered a competition but hopefully, by virtue of finally putting something on the critique, I'll be allowed in.

Bloody hell I'm late. Will need to find a way of sneaking in the back door.

Though will probably have to write something funny first.
