Favourite Seinfeld characters

Mine, in order of greatness:

1. George
2. Kramer
3. Frank
4. Newman
5. Library Cop

What, so none of your favourite Seinfeld characters is actually Seinfeld? Interesting.

I just did a top 5 mate. Jerry is funny I just prefer the ones I listed, as well as Chiles, Krugar, J.Peterman, whenever they appear.

Fair enough, chief.

Gotta give it up for Puddy.

Yeah, that's right.

I threw a little paddy and deleted this post.

Seinfeld is my least favourite regular character, for the simple reason that the man cannot act. He actually can't even play himself convincingly. (Did you see his cameo on '30 Rock'? I bit three of my knuckles off with the stress of watching him mug it up like a simpleton with an itchy disease)

I'm not saying he can't write, or that he doesn't deserve huge 'big ups' for co-creating the masterpiece that is 'Seinfeld', I'm just saying he can't act.

Let battle commence, Seinfeld lovers!

It's fair to say that there's a certain knowingness to his acting style, but winking sideways at the camera might just be the best way to sustain a long and successful career in showbiz. Just look at Bruce Willis.

His acting in the show has never bothered or worried me; I like his performance.

George is one of the most beautiful characters ever created. He's perfect, in every way. I love him so.

At first, I wasn't sure about Elaine. But she is just an fantastic quirky character. Who fits in perfectly with the boys.

Jerry is Jerry.

Kramer can be funny at times, but he's not the best and is miles below the greatness that is George.

1. Jerry
2. George
3. Elaine

Don't really like Kramer.

:O But . . . he's brilliant . . !

It took me dozens of episodes to warm to Jerry's acting. Then I got it - he's the straight man. A character playing a stand-up comedian, in a comedy show, named after him - and he's the straight man! Another reason, if any more were needed, to love this show.

I know, I'm an outcast!

I don't miiind him. But he's the one main character I wouldn't miss if he was lifted out.
I enjoy the other storylines, the ones that focus on George's patheticness, Elaine's stupidity and Jerry's... Jerryness. Rather than Kramer's 'eccentricities'.
