What's your current ear worm?

Ear Worm = A song that sticks in you head for a while uninvited - usually one you don't even like.

The bit I'll always remember from the film Touching The Void was when the guy said he thought he was dying and he couldn't get the song 'Brown Girl in the Ring' out of his head. That thought has haunted me ever since - not only will my last words probably be rubbish - I'll die while hearing the theme tune of Minder or something!

Thanks to Rob in the Critique section I now have to put up with David Essex - "Hold me Close" for the foreseeable future. Although I did enjoy his revised version so I can't really complain and my brain has kindly replaced David's lyrics with Rob's which are better.

Anyone else have one?

The Minder theme isn't that bad. I particularly like the big bass slaps and the horns.

I'm not dissing it as a theme tune! I think we may even have bought a copy back in the 1980s!

But I was hoping for something a little more poignant for my demise...

Oh okay. By the way, I just want to make it clear, I was referring to the old Minder theme. I know it's just come back, with Shane Richie, but I haven't heard the new theme yet.

The new theme is the same tune but a crap version.

Isn't that about having anal sex with a black girl? You've only been hear 26 posts and you're already lowering the tone.

For me it would be that Pink song about being a rock star. I hate it and I hate her faux posturing but the song does tend to bounce endlessly around my head.
