Meh, I loved Oasis for the first two albums, they haven't done anything since to deserve the attention they get. This baffles me, as they used to be so good.

Is their debut actually THAT good?

Noel is a great anthem writer, but I wouldn't say I loved any of their albums all that much. 'What's The Story' is good, but nothing more.

Well I loved it. Aged 14 it was probably the first album I did love, so it has that hold over me.

I still like their later stuff although admittedly it's nowhere near as good as the first two. I think once they became so successful and so rich they lost the hunger they had when they were just a group of working class lads from Manchester. The B-sides album The Masterplan is just as good as their first two albums in my opinion.

They've had quite a few great songs since the first couple of albums - Little By Little is one of my favourite songs. But they lack a bit of consistency I guess. But live they are still one of the best bands out there. I've seen them twice and I've got tickets for two of their Wembley shows in the Summer, can't wait.

I'm hoping Noel will release a solo album sometime soon too. Seeing him play an acoustic set would be incredible.

Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) - Don't Bring Me Down

Importance of Being Idle was an Epic song one of their best.

Primus, shake hand's with beef.

I've often wondered why Noel doesn't end the band and just do something new on his own.

Because Liam would cry his little eyes out.

And we come full circle back to The La's, with a song that sounds suspiciously like 'The Importance . . .'
