Worst. Porno. Ever.

Good pornstar name though - Woody Allen.

Heading to store for a beer run as soon as I shower. I think it might be an Old Speckled Hen night.

No Old Speckled Hen on the shelves, so I had to settle for good ol' American Sierra Nevada ESB.

I picked up 2 8-packs of Guinness on the way home from work; I love it when they drop the price down to $11.99 before St. Patrick's Day. I also picked up 2 6-packs from the microbrewery 20 miles down the road from my house. I need to take one of their brewery tours someday.

It's known around Newcastle as "Dog", as in saying to the wife "I'm just off to walk the dog", when in fact you were off to the pub to sample the brown gold. 'Tis an evil and sultry mistress.

Newcastle is widely available around the country. It's not one of my favorites, but it'll do when the only alternatives are megabrews and stuff like Heineken. The bars at my hotel/casino in Vegas had only Newcastle and Corona as imports, so I drank a lot of free Newcastles.

It's also my son's favorite beer. Next to Chimay, that is, but he can't often afford a $12 bottle of beer, so Newcastle it is. He's been experimenting with different beers lately. I raised him well.
