Are GHD straighteners worth it? Some of my friends say they really are worth the money but I'm a bit funny about forking over money unless I know the product works. When they use it in the hairdressers my hair always looks so lush but they are pros. Are they easy to use?
Question for the ladies....
Doesn't answer anything! He doesn't even have straight hair!
*shrugs*
I have straight hair anyway, so I won't be any use either.
I wonder if anyone will ever say anything helpful on this thread...
I don't straighten my curly hair, but am also told they're amazing.
Some people I know have them and swear by them. I have cheaper ones (Nicky Clarke I think) and they're fine but then I only use them very occasionally - I have annoying wavy hair not curly nor straight. I think good hairdressers can use anything and make hair look good
My hair is quite straight but I want to do flicks and things.
I have quite thin hair and once the hairdresser had new GHDs and was using them on everyone so I got done and my hair was so flat, I looked like I was wearing a swimming cap.
They are obviously very effective.
Every girl I know swears by them.
They are amazing. Definitely worth the money and far superior to any other hair straightener. You can also use them to curl your hair into ringlets too, and they are funnily enough more effective at curling hair than actual hair curlers are.
Ringlets. Cor.

How bizzaaaare.
You know when you curl ribbon with scissors? Its a bit like that. You take a bit of hair and then clamp the straighteners on then pull it down the length of the hair firmly until you get to the end, then you'll have a perfect curl. I feel ridiculously girly from this conversation.

Park straight, program a video recorder, then have a CD collection with more than 9 CDs - then you'll feel like a man.
