Last pub I was in was The Globe. It was shortly after I nearly broke my mate's ribs on a ride at the fair!

I take it that was the old cinema that was converted into a huge pub in the style of a gin palace?
I used to drink alot (meaning often and large quantities) in the Holloway Road pub opposite the uni. We'd go there for lunch and miss the afternoon lectures.

Bollocks. I never enjoyed university until the last year, but I still only got a 2:2. You're trading on the stereotype that all students are having a laugh down the pub every night. It's not like that for everyone.
