You don't get a choice.

Neither do you with the wonder that is Rohpinol.

On the subject of Pratchett, I like him, I just wish he'd split his books up into proper chapters.

Have you developed a tolerance to it over the years, or does it just fail to get through the rolls of fa- Er, I mean, ha! She's got you there, chipolata!

You've got Auto Immune Deficiency Syndrome? I knew you're many years of debauched sluttery would catch up with you eventually. :P

One day I'll try reading one of his well known books.
I tried picking up a random book (I think it was from his Discworld series) and I didn't like the writing style. But besides that I'm sure he has some great stuff.

No, you're correct with your inital reaction. IMO.

Try reading Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. That's a lot of fun, especially if you like end of the world 666 spoofs.

Cool will do. I didn't know the two had worked on something together.
I'm reading American Gods right now. Pretty depressing so far.

I loved Johnny and the Dead. I might read that tonight actually. I avoided Disc World books, although I really think I might enjoy them.

I don't like wizards and dragons and shit either.

And don't think Pratchett would sway me. :)

I heart Stephen King, but I avoid that swords and quests and talismans series he writes like the plague. Bleurgh.

What about Rowling?

Oh yeah.

CONSIDER ME A MASSIVE HYPOCRITE.

I guess she's different because it's set in the real world. Not in some mystical time on some mystical planet where they don't even speak proper English. There's a lot that feels real to me.

Yep, prezunctly. :)
