Of 30 Rock? It's on either this or next Friday on Five US.

Finally something funny on Friday nights! It starts at 9 on Five US with a double bill.

Sorry to disagree with myself, but 30 Rock doesn't stand a cat in hells chance of becoming a long-running series. In fact, I suspect it'll end up having fewer episodes than Arrested Development before its inevitably cancelled due to poor ratings.

Looking good so far!

I hope your right, but it's struggle to find a larger audience is well documented.

Yep, it's on this Friday. Yippy de-yo and all that shit! I love 30 Rock.

Already seen these two episodes, but sweet holy Jesus is it good to watch them again.

"I'm a real good sex person; I do it all the different ways."

"I'm your worst nightmare, that's who I is!"

Liz wiping ham grease on her socks and having a tooth fall out mid-conversation.

Amazing stuff.

(I wish GOB was a regular though.)

Chortle: THE second series of acclaimed US comedy 30 Rock attracted just 63,000 viewers when it debuted on digital channel Five USA on Friday.

This is a joke, why did Five USA do no promotions? This is the most successful sitcom in USA at the moment and they have the rights. I wouldn't have known about its return had this forum not told me. Angry

It says "just 63,000", but how many viewers does that channel actually get anyway? Why is a show like this being thrown away on such a shitty, nothing channel? Why isn't it on Channel 4 at ten o'clock?!?! Or BBC Four, why haven't they snapped it up?! Gah!!

How are you defining succesful? In terms of awards, yes. In terms of viewers, no. Definitely not. It's certainly doing better than it was in the States, helped in large part by Tina Fey becoming a big star on the back of her Sarah Palin impressions, but it's still not huge in the Friends sense.

You hang over this show like a wet flannel of doom Chip, seemingly longing for it to fail!

Mind you, at least this has eventually got on to UK TV. ITV2 seems to have give up on the US Office, unless anybody knows different.

I love it! And hope it goes for a good few seasons yet. But I'm also a realist. And I couldn't care less the viewing figures on Five USA - they're showing it, that's all that matters. And that means a DVD release will follow shortly.

Yeah but if it's only getting 63,000 then they might not show it for long.

Depends what other shows on the channel get? I can't imagine the equally excellent final season of The Shield getting many more viewers. Or their new import The Beast.
