PhD in a sitcom, what would you choose? Page 2

How can you check?
I want a worldwide searchable list of PhD topics. Angry

IMO too. I'm sure it could make a successful doctorate, though there's a good chance someone's pulled it off already.

:D

It'd be quite wide though. No chance I'd be able to manage it. But an interesting subject certainly.

I'm sure it would come easily once you got down to it.

But it'd be hard to get started.

What if you were given a hand?

Frasier. It could be like the psychology of psychologists.

Wouldn't your head implode?

Actually, no, your head could handle it quite easily!

>_<

A Masters in Pure Milligamatics.

Blackadder no contest. And no PhD either. :(

For me, it would have to be the Marx Brothers. The fact that the silent era had only just finished, when they started making films (though not for Harpo, obviously), shows just how ahead of their time they were.

Incidently, if you've ever wondered why Harpo never spoke, it was all down to him being bullied in school. Apparently, he was picked on so badly his mum took him out of school when he was in the fourth grade - the final straw was when an Irish kid threw him out of a dangerously high window. Consequently, his reading ability was never up to much, so he had trouble reading scripts.

Yea that be awesome. That whole era of American comedy would be so rich in history to explore.
W. C. Fields, Jack Benny, 3 Stooges, Abbott and Costello and Bob Hope.
I love Abbott and Costello but I only have a few movies from them. I'd love to get a full set some day.

I'm sure someone on University Challenge yesterday said they were doing a PhD on the history of the book.
Seems a bit vague.
Too much work!
Bet he's kicking himself for not thinking of doing it on Blackadder episode 5 series 2 now.

That reminds me of when Myleene Klass went on Celeb Mastermind and her specialist subject was one series of Sex and the City!

Haha!

I hope she got lots of points.
