Top Tenuous

Was listening to Chris Evans on Radio 2 yesterday and he had an amusing bit on people's tenuous links to a celebrity. Not sure how many were true but the star featured was Eamon Holmes.

Someone's grandfather was Eamon's doctor and somebody else used to catch the same bus as his brother (or something like that).

What's your most tenuous link with a celeb?

Mine is probably that my children's former headmaster is the step-father-in-law of Amy Winehouse.

Fred Dinenage, of How2 fame, is a distant cousin of my girlfriends Mum. Though they've never had any contact.

Oh, and my Mum went to school with Melvyn Bragg.

How?

Actually, to us older folk Fred Dineage is of "How" fame. And football highlights. And probably local TV presenting if you were in the Southern TV region, which I wasn't.

How?

Yes? That was the show. Though it was How2 when I watched.

My mum once hired a bus to Uri Gellar. He brought it back bent in half.

We have those in London now but BoJo doesn't like them.

I live across the road from Fran Healy's Mum and about 5 doors up from her is Sharleen Spiteri's sister.

My uncle's boss owned the original Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. And I've sat in her and honked her horn.

So nyer.

I saw Gordon Brown on my TV. He's the Prime Minister of Great Britain. I live in Great Britain.

My mum was friends with the guy out of Black Lace, I think he died?
