And Sorry! was flipping unwatchable.

I watched it. Though when I was five. I would have thought old shit like that would have been right up your passage.

Worst sitcom ever?

Coach Potato

No-one watched it and it didn't even run to a complete episode. As that's my unfinished pilot script it's probably unsurprising it didn't get commissioned. ;)

Corbett's character, Timothy, is a spineless, annoying tit. Therefore, unwatchable.

Uhh... so where's the logic leading to "therefore unwatchable"? There are plenty of films and TV programmes with spineless annoying tits in them.

I didn't like Sorry, btw. Just wondering where the logic has gone.

What about that Ronnie Corbett abomination "Sorry!"?

What!? Sorry, but 'Sorry!' is one of the best sitcoms ever made! It's pure classic British comedy at its very best. How anyone can think 'Sorry!' is 'unwatchable' or an an 'abomination' is absolutely beyond me!

Hang on, did you say Coach Potato? Not Couch? Oh, sorry. :(

I suppose you could accuse Frank Spencer of the same traits. But 'SMDAE' is ace.

I find myself in agreement with Mr Stott. Time for a lie down.

Now you know how it feels to be correct, cool and good looking. For once.

No. I knew it would only be a temporary blip!

I think it's Corbett's unlikable character that does it for me. He dreams to be a proper man, but only dreams, never properly properly tries. He has basically zero spirit. Constantly and EASILY manipulated by his mother.

It's like if you got Steptoe and took all the fight out of Harold.

And regarding the Frank Spencer argument. He's clumsy, innocent and trying to provide the best for his wife and child. Likeable.

You're getting confused with Harry H. Corbett. I'm referring to Ronnie Corbett.
