I was going to post this as part of a reply in the 'Writing Opportunities' thread re. 'a new topical sketch show to be transmitted on BBC Radio 7'. Then I thought, 'Shall I submit it?' Then I decided that it wasn't topical enough. Apart from that, I think they would like it. What do you think?

NEWSREADER:
Good Evening, its six o'clock, Here is the news - apart from the fact that is six o'clock - or was.
Anyway, here is the news, read by Alexander Rule-Bending.
64 per cent of 8 out of 10 ballpoint owners think the BBC licence fee 'a rip off' according to an UpYorz poll.
Asked whether the £139.50 licence fee was good value for money, 64% of people chose the answer: 'If being robbed and anally raped at knife-point is good value for money - then - 'no'.
24% chose - 'Yes, if I can f**k your granddaughter.'
10% chose - ' A Piano's fine - but shoot the Four Poofs.'
02% chose - 'Don't know' - but added – 'Where the f**k is my sketch, you c**t? I sent it to you six f**kin' months ago! Hey, I can take rejection - when or if it comes - but you cock-sucking father-f**kin' leeches haven't even acknowledged receipt!
That is the end of the news. Coming up next is our play, 'You Scratch My Back' - a comedy written by Jemima Rule-Bending.
B and Cue grams.
