Dry cleaning must be quite a good job actually.

Quote: Martin Holmes @ July 22, 2007, 8:11 PMUsually I'm mainly positive and think that if I just keep at it something will come of it someday, but then one day every 2 months or so I get that feeling of "Will I ever make it, am I wasting my time?" and it also pisses me off when I feel I've written something really good and I think "Will I ever get the chance to showcase this to the world". But then the next day I'm alright again.
I get that a lot. I see some of the stuff which gets made and it boils me kettle because I know I can do better.
But it's a competitive industry. The thing is, you do it long enough and good enough you will succeed. I would just rather it was not postumous.

If it is can you leave us something in your will?
I write because I love it, feel compelled to do it and can't imagine doing anything else.
It's such a freedom! Like being let off the leash! No boundaries, barriers and stuff! No matter what is going on in my world, the moment I sit down at the keyboard, I always get excited.

This is a really "nice" thread. It's great read all your reasons, most of which we all share.
