...as Bill Oddie used to sing.

What's the best and worst advice you've ever been given?

The worst advice was from my PE teacher who taught us a little Irish jig in Dance class. She told us it was a good dance to learn and remember for the rest of our lives because if we were ever stood around cold - at a bus stop say - we could do this dance and it would warm us up. Now I was hardly going to re-enact Riverdance at bus stop aged 14, so I'm certainly never going to do it now. The same PE teacher also told me my mascara was hindering my diving technique.

That's great advise for tourism. How awesome would it be as a tourist to be driving through England and everyone is doing a dance in unison while waiting for the bus.

That'll be Ireland your talking about there then.

On what possible basis do you work that one out?

There are many types of relationships. I work very hard at having relationships with my family. My family does not view me as selfish so I believe your sweeping assumption that those of us that do not NEED a dating, boyfriend girlfriend relationship are selfish is ridiculous and selfish.

I have healthy friendships and I know they do not view me as selfish. I have been raised with a value system that believes my family is first. If a time comes where I meet someone that I see as one who would love my family INCLUDING MY BROTHER AS ODD AS HE CAN BE and respect my culture, maybe just maybe a relationship could move forward.

I will be very careful who I would ever chose to have a romantic relationship with. It surely will not be based on a NEED TO HAVE decision.

Yes, I'm sure it's the same level of desire.

I neither assumed anything, nor did I say that I personally believe that your lack of a relationship is selfish.
