It happened with Alan Partridge too, me and the same mate loved it and we still do although it really pissed me off when people said they hated it then all of a sudden everyone started quoting it - snobs.

That's a perfect example I was in a small group of people when I was at school who loved them. And then especially after Rockstar came out everyone loves them nw - it slightly annoys me when a band becomes more mainstream... Makes me like them slightly less...
I was into Lee Henman way before it was cool.

Radiohead. I liked Creep the first time it was released.
Didn't put me off when everyone else started liking them though.
Their songs improved when they became Nickelburtbacharach.
