My mother asked me how I was when she phoned before. So I told her I found it painful to talk. She expressed the requisite amount of sympathy and then proceeded to ask me a series of questions.
Been working on hand written letters all night (they're bad and take ages), and no with less than half an hour to go they give store reports (really easy and take 5 miutes to deal with). This is, my friends, an outrage!

Aaron doesn't understand a woman's need to have the flowers delivered to her office in order to impress/infuriate the other women.
I once had a dozen roses delivered to my workplace. I wouldn't recommend it if you don't enjoy the piss being ripped out of you for a fortnight solid.

Just got back from taking my son's visiting girlfriend on the obligatory tour of downtown and the Alamo. We stopped and had a drink with my son's friend who is out here for Air Force training. His friend's uncle, an Air Force colonel, was also in town and we had a good talk about military life and fine beer.
The woman who took my money as I left the parking garage said, "May the good Lord bless you abundantly, sir."
Having a Guinness or two at the theater before the movie (Coraline 3D) begins.
