Recorded For Training Purposes (Series 3) Page 43

Can't you download it from iPlayer? It should still be on until tonight's TX.

Really liked the Mr Darcy sketch, BTW.

There's a programme online called Free Recorder Toolbar which does exactly what it says on the tin, i.e. a toolbar that records live radio.
Supposed to be good.

So who from BSG got stuff into the shows in the end?

Anybody been invited to the workshops off the back of this yet? And what dates are they going?

I've just got an email inviting me, 11th of May, 13th of April & 9th of March.

Yeah, I put down for the Easter Monday one.

I had Death to the West Club (ep. 3) Sex & violence pre-sig and Elephant Man (ep. 5) and Lost Data (ep. 6).

I haven't listened to last night's broadcast yet. I'm dying to know if they left the heckle in the Lost Data sketch and how that comes across on air.

I asked for 9th March but said I could make any if that one is full.

You can't quite hear it... What did they should out?

I love the idea of a sketch show getting heckled. At one point, in one of the other sketches, one of the female performers was clearly struggling to maintain composure - that was funny too!

Anyway, to everyone that wrote on this show can I just say congratulations - I thought this latest series was of a very high standard indeed.

It's always funny when people crack up and try to remain composed. See Brian Johnston for further details.

I didn't quite hear it either. It was something like "In your own time!" or "Get on with it!" or somesuch.

Me too. My sketch getting heckled because some dozy bint in the audience fell for it was one of the highlights for me.

EDIT: - They've put me down for 11th May for the workshop.

Are these just for people who got stuff on, or for the 'nearlies' too?

Dan

No idea, the email said something about 'promising writers who submitted' blah blah blah. So could go either way.

Well, here's hoping. Cheers Af'

It also said they were having 20 per date, with three dates mentioned so I guess that has to be more than made it onto air.

I've asked for April, or May if full.

Perhaps see some of you crazy cats at a pub sometime (pint of Alpine from a Sam Smiths would be lovely).
