I swear you could work for the BBC!

I've just sent him 5 unsolicited scripts on the strength of that implied affiliation.

Just got your book Marc - looking forward to reading it.

(By the way what happened to that Myspace comedy thread ... it seems to have disappeared?!)

Turns out it was a massive con.

Not really. It's in the new 'Writing Opportunities' sub-forum at the top of the Writers' Forum.

Ah, ok, thanks!

Thank God for that! My brother had a copy before it was publised and has lent it since to at least twenty people!

:(

So you've bought a book Marc? Big deal! I bought one myself just the other day. Mine was by...

Err...What? He *wrote* it? Nah! Go on you're kidding...

Ah that's different then.

Congratulations Marc. Interesting article and insight - Oh and well done squire.

I saw it in WHSmith today but refuse to spend money there on principle after they ripped me off by cancelling my gift cards.

Couldn't find it in Waterstones, so will have to source at Amazon I think.

Da

If I am honest, which is rare, I would probably answer what I was doing at the time.

BLOKE: What do you do then, Marc?

ME: Writer.

BLOKE: What sort of writer?

ME: Well I'm doing a Doctors episode at the moment.

BLOKE: (CONSIDERS) Oh, not a proper writer then!

That's all very well, but what if he asked "What do you do then, Mark?" Quite a different response, I'll wager!

Good interview and best of luck with the book.

Where abouts in Norfolk are you based, Marc P?

On the North Norfolk coast, thirty seconds stroll from the azure, sparkling almost Mediterranean waters of the North Sea.

North Norfolk is lovely. I'm based just 10-15 miles outside Norwich, near a place called Bungay.

I know Bungay, by the broads, very nice!!

Enough Marc! We don't want to be inundated by Pearson fans, do we?
