Unsuccessful Spinoffs

Frasier was a massively successful spin off from Cheers. GGG is doing ok as a spin off from OFAH:

But what spinoffs have been unsuccessful?

I'm only aware of a few, one of those is Joey - a spinoff from Friends.

There were three spin offs that I know of from Happy Days.
Mork & Mindy was quite successful
However I don't think Joannie loves Chachi or Laverne & Shirley fared so well.

Don't Drink The Water managed 2 series, but wasn't exactly huge (On The Buses).

Grace & Favour could be mentioned I suppose (Are You Being Served?).

I quite liked Grace and Favour.

I've not got around to watching it yet.

Naughty Aaron.

I have series 1 and 2 on "dvd".

I quite liked Grace and Favour.

Didn't it have a sexy woman in jodhpurs in it?

Also, wasn't there a spinoff of Cheers called the Tortellis? About Carla and her brood?

Number 5 -- After M*A*S*H (1983-84)

How do you ruin one of the most highly regarded shows in the history of television? The answer is simple: You take three of its least beloved characters and put them in a Missouri veteran's hospital. That was the idea behind After M*A*S*H, the brutal spinoff that featured Colonel Potter, Sergeant Klinger and Father Mulcahy getting on with their post-war lives. Ultimately, this is a show that would have been best left M.I.A..

Worst moment: In an attempt to create an intriguing love interest, producers included Klinger's Korean war bride, Soon-Lee

You can't. MASH is still remembered. The spin-offs aint.

Joey.

What was the one after Porridge?

I quite liked this and am a little unhappy that it is only available on R1 DVD. Generally speaking if you like AYBS? then G&F is an extension of the same characters and jokes.

Dan

Are you trying to say you're not a homosexualist again? :D

For more on spinoffs may I refer you to my own excellent thread on the subject.

I'm pretty sure it'll be out whenever they get around to finishing off releasing Are You Being Served?.
