Do you post jokes on here then? Just sent my first batch of jokes to Graham. They're all topical, from last two days news. Is this a bad thing, as I presume jokes aren't used until next week?

Don't post jokes here - send them to Graham. Some topicals have been used so they can be good, but only really if they have "legs". E.g. Obama is still a new president next week but last night's football results will be old hat.
Been intouch with an idea 
That being using cartoon illustrations with gag lines for 118 as well (like those for the greeting cards)
I've had a prompt reply thanking me for the idea and that it's a 'maybe', however he said after looking at the three examples I sent that they would have to be much, much cleaner.
So may knock a few ideas up for the board with the intentions of forwarding on as more suitable material.

Nope I don't think they provide that info any more.
I did about six on Friday 13th - I think I've done better since I've sent less in for some reason ... maybe I'm honing them more or something.
Ah, I was blank with the previous request. Haven't tried with the current one. Might be easier though.
