Marc
Are you planning on doing this particular workshop or something similar again?
Just my luck, I am elsewhere on 7 March but would have otherwise liked to attend.

The workshop sounds brilliant- it's a pity there never seems to be anything like this in the North of England.
It is somewhere between 5 and 7 grand PER SCRIPT. If you are commissioned, you are then often asked to write a further two scripts, for which you are paid regardless of whether they are broadcast.
I'm charging a low fee (it ought to be at least £90) as this is the first one.
Cynics and the snide need not apply. I am cynical enough for at least a room of ten.
Oh - and if it goes well I intend to replicate this in Manchester.
And to Mr Deferenz request...I hope to make this a fairly regular event.

I wish.

I'm with you brother. (for me, not you.)
Hello again. Back from prison, heard my name mentioned.
Mr Blake is truly good guy.
Apologies to everyone who has been missing me!

It's Tim Walker!
Blake helped me, I sent him the first draft of a script I'd written, he said the central idea was good, but everything around it was rubbish. So I changed everything around it. And now it's all good and has found a home; so thanks for that!
Hi all, back from sabbatical/prison.
In view of demand for my presence (none) I shall start posting again.
Having met and paid for Marc's advice, trust me he knows of what he speaks.
Hope everyone is well.

Hope you didn't go to prison for research. Cos there was this sitcom called Porridge that a lot of people hold in high regard. Just worried you've wasted your time there...
Get it on DVD -- it's quite good
Dan
(Nice to have you back btw)
Im guessing you have had many sitcoms commisioned then Marcy?

Yeah, one half a lager!
Marc gave me tips on my stuff and it has improved them immensely top bloke.
Not Marc P. He just looks at me with the same mid distance stare, Marc Blake
Stop having a pop at Marc Blake! Its big of him to admit he's an expert in how NOT to write a sitcom.
Marc knows his stuff and his crit is well worth the money.
