Afternoon Comedy Nerds,
I'm off to see Russell Brand tomorrow night at the H.Apollo. The gig starts at 8.00pm.
I have to catch a train pretty much straight after but would like the chance of meeting Mr. Brand. I'm not sure whether any of you would be able to help with this, but what time do you think he would arrive at the venue beforehand, bearing in mind the show starts at 8pm?
Mainly asking people who have tried to meet people before a show in the past.

I accidentally met Ricky Gervais when I was picking up tickets two hours before his show started.
I would have thought meeting them afterwards was more usual? Wouldn't they be in their dressing room before?
I don't ever try and do it though so I'm not the expert, as you say.
I guess he might be in the bar beforehand, you could sit around for an hour or two and wait.
The Apollo is a hard venue to meet people (if you mean in Hammersmith) as it's normally teaming with people up to 2 hours before performances. I doubt you'd see him before the show to be quite honest.
Well we have a couple of hours to kill before so it might be worth a shout.

Can't you just post the dog-turd-in-a-tesco-bag to him? I know I did, and it saved shelling out a score to do it in person.
It would depend on how many Women he's 'chatted to' after the show
Brand was great, really enjoyed it. Didn't meet him, maybe next time.
