Just ordered a new Mac Mini for my home theater system. The old one has done a great job over the last 3 years or so, but it's too underpowered to handle 1080p video. I'm planning to dump my cable TV subscription, so I'd like to be able to play downloaded video in HD. It should pay for itself after a few months.

Looks like my old Mini can fetch $400 on eBay. Nice.

Da Butt You are far to money focussed. Take a lesson from our resident hippy the Roo-meister. She often just swans around wearing only a big cape smiling at people and offering them flowers for no reason other than it's Friday. Free the spirit Da Butt and get some flowers in your hair. Could be a song?

Parents, girlfriends and children have always told me that I didn't pay enough attention to my money. It's something I don't really care much about.

Then donate that there computer to a senior center. In Texas many centers need things.In San Antonio there is meals on wheels. They always need better equipment.

I know this because I have donated things to meals on wheels here.
