Snow - Friend or Foe? Page 17

It's now pouring down with snow come on!!

I hope it becomes really deep and I can go home, Come on Appa Yip, Yip!

I've made it into work, but hardly anyone else has.

They're shutting up the building at noon. Bonus!! Just the 2 hours work for me!!

I *am* a fan of snow, but I am *defo* not a fan of ice, slush, and rain. :(

Well the snow has got really bad where I am in Northamptonshire.

The most snow I think I've ever seen.

Yes, it is deep here isn't it? Just going to go build a snowman :D

I don't like it, but I do today. Anything that gives me time off work is good. :)

Have a bit more imagination. I saw a snow Scottie dog yesterday. Industrious kids in that house.

Laughing out loud!!!

I'm really mad. Most schools were closed today because of the weather but ours wasn't.

Jo took the kids in in the car but about an hour and a half later she heard the school was closing so she had to pick them up again. Unfortunately she had a prang and while it's probably 60-40 her error (sounded like he was going too fast for the conditions) it's going to cost us again.

Before I left I said to Jo that the school should've closed because it was snowing harder all the time. Even on the radio a presenter said that some schools would rue their decision to open today.

Only half the kids showed up anyway so it's been a farce. I'm thinking of sending a bill to the school for the damage.

Personally, I'd have kept my kids at home.

Schools should face it. It's snowing outside (and today is a Friday too). Even if they CAN open, the kids aren't going to pay the slightest f**king bit of attention.

It looks like someone has dropped a giant Slush Puppy outside.

She is beautiful... but she seems to be touching herself.

No work for me today as you could probably see on the TV how bad Devon is!
