I'll get me coat.

I never played out of fear my life would get consumed by it.
I have an addictive personality when it comes to games like these.
City of Heroes...I want my summer back!

I think one of the only reasons I know sort of what this is is because of South Park. And that bloke who cheated on his wife on there; only obviously not really because it's not real.

I hear that. I must have given 200 hours away to Guitar Hero already and I only bought it a month ago.

It's going to be a bittersweet moment when I purchase a Wii with that game...

My work colleague plays WoW and he is totally addicted. He does nothing else except play WoW. He gets home around 6.30 and is straight on the pc. He finishes around 1am where he crawls into bed. His weekends are spent glued to the pc playing it. He has followed this pattern of life for about two years now.

At lunch time he logs on to the WoW server so that he can make gold or grind ore or something (yes he has it installed at work too). He tries to tell me about it but speaks in some weird language of raiding, pvp'ing, levelling and other such gaming terms. He purchases gold from Chinese websites so that he can level up his numerous characters because it would take too long to make the gold himself given that he has a full time job, so he explains. He deems it unfair that other players don't have full time jobs which means they can play longer than him.

If the game is this addictive then I'm lucky that I've never got into it because I happen to be a sucker for anything that pulls you in game wise.

Some people are seriosuly seriously addicted

One of my friends who's at uni is almost as bad as that.

He plays so much he's one of the top 20 players in europe... It's wrong how much you have to play to be ranked like that...
