You really don't want to do this do you. Fair enough. Next time she calls round sharpen a great big in your face knife and have a nice chianti and some Fava beans standing by. Invite her in for a nice coffee. I guarantee you'll never see her again.

UPDATE
This woman, her name is Linda came to my house in anger. She says "How dare you have a F$#&%$ *((&^%$% lawyer call my house you ^%$*^#@.
She proceeded to tell me she doesn't want my f#$#$@%^ art and I better not show my face in town again.
I told her I live here and own a home here and I do not think she has he power to tell me where to go or not to go.
She then stomped off like a baby to her car and off she went.
Looks like I have made an enemy.
I asked the post lady about her and she says, "Nasty bitch she would of sold you to Little Abners third cousin"
I have these on my photobucket
Wow! Very nice!
Quote: Griff @ February 2 2009, 11:58 PM GMTI love the middle one.
Very nice, indeed.
Wow! It's wonderful, Dr.Mato!
Quote: Griff @ February 2 2009, 11:58 PM GMTI love the middle one. What materials is it made from?
I made that from recycled stuff. Adverts from the news and such. I then took raw umber, madder, onion skins and cactus juice to make different colours..... made a paste to coat it with. I topped it with hide glue boiled to clear giving it that shinny look.
Oh and the top piece is beaded. It is a traditional bag I now carry my monies in.
The last piece is on hide and I made all the colours from earth oxides .
Awesome stuff Dr Bear.
Explain the the lady that clearly you hadn't understood what she meant and that this is something you just don't feel comfortable with doing and offer to help out in another way such as making refreshments or helping with publicity. But at the same time, it does like she is trying to bully you into it so stay firm and just say NO.

You are better off out of it! What a petty little woman.

They are very lovely works. Is the one in the middle a variation of paper mache(strips of paper soaked in flour and water and layered to form a solid)?
I've always marveled at people who can do intricate beadwork. The patience, the laser like concentration on detail. Amazing. Is it hard to part with these pieces? I find I tend to just keep my best work
