Lauren Laverne - Brain donor

Anyone else irritated by this shithead?

I could understand her getting co-presenter on the One Show or some BBC Three f**kcrap, but The Culture Show? How on earth did she get this gig? It obvious she's never read a book.

Tonight her eyes lit up when rockabilly pinhead Mark Kermode mentioned that a jacket worn in the 70's Charge of the Light Brigade Movie was later worn by Adam Ant. "The Antster!" For a moment she stopped smirking and I got a glimpse of how she is when she's actually talking about something she's heard of and is interested in.

I haven't forgotten her ripping the piss out of Sting over his lute playing. I f**king hate Sting but at least he was in a decent band.

I don't mind her, she's funnier than a lot of female comedians imo.

Female Comedians?

I don't watch The Culture Show though, so I can't comment on that.

Mark Kermode is a twat though, if that helps.

Female Comedians?

Laughing out loud

Well, Victoria Wood is ok. And Hattie Hayridge makes me laugh, as did Linda Smith.

as did Linda Smith.

Didn't she do a book about how to cook an egg?

Well, yeah, let's get Frankie Boyle to present the Culture show. I don't say she has no place in TV, just why is she presenting a programme with culture in the title?

How dare you Godot!
Lauren Laverne IS culture. And Kenickie were one of the best bands of the 90s. Even their very under-rated difficult second album, Get In is top quality. And anyone who rips the piss out of sanctimonious rainforest-saving-but-let-me-hop-on-the-last-concorde-for-a-laugh Sting is a mighty fine human being.
She is also quite delectable.

God Paul Merton is annoying.

Ok, fair enough, but don't call her a shithead!

:D

I really like Lauren Laverne! I find her endearing and funny. She's good on the various music shows she's on and holds her own on Mock the Week and similar.

I've only seen The Culture Show on a few occasions when something's particularly interested me, but I find her ok on that too.

I could have found her irritating, like Fearne Cotton (Angry) but I don't. :)

Get lost Badge, she's 0/10. Especially with those ringlets. Her face looks like a child's drawing of the sun.
