Quote: sootyj @ January 29 2009, 5:49 PM GMTNot in his wettest dream could Gordy be a tenth of the vicious mean spirited bully Thatch was.
Perhaps, but from the stories I have heard Gordon is much more inclined to throw his toys out of the pram for no reason. Staff in Gordon's private office learn not to prod the bear.
Quote: sootyj @ January 29 2009, 5:31 PM GMTAt times we seem to live in a guilt ridden society, obsessed with sympathising with offenders.
The idea that people should be made to accept responsibility for their own actions is just reactionary claptrap spouted by people without degrees social sciences.

I read that and had a fit. Then I read it again. You're a naughty boy.
Quote: Dr Mato @ January 29 2009, 8:38 PM GMTI could send the bullies home crying. When I was eight my brother cut the head off my ONLY doll and hung her upside down in a tree because he was mad at me.
That eve my father found my brother tied to a tree with pine needles and mud all over him.
LOOOOOL
Quote: zooo @ January 29 2009, 8:47 PM GMTI had that dog! It was brown.
I got it from Father Christmas.
He really is a jolly generous fellow.

Quote: Timbo @ January 29 2009, 9:58 PM GMTI could still be at still school...
Is that where one goes to learn how to be a living statue?
Quote: Moonstone @ January 29 2009, 5:45 PM GMTThat is so shocking. And so disgusting.
I hear a new example every day of why human beings are just smashing.
You'd be amazed. There are no hold barred where kids are concerned especially teenagers. Myself, I had someone try to set fire to my hair with a bunsen burner, locked in the toilets while being pelted with wet toilet rolls, had a chew up lion bar spat into my hair, had people pelt me with with rocks hidden in snow balls so the teachers didn't see, had my head held under water in the swimming pool (hence my fear of swimming pools and large bodies of water), and the final straw, having a knife pulled on me. All because I was fat, spotty, and came from a low income family.
And I even know of worse stories. I met one girl once who when she was just 12, had a gang of older girls wait for her after school, beat her up, dragged her to the football field, and poured water of her claiming it was petrol and threaten to set fire to her. She was so scared she wet herself. They just wanted to scare her but it was enough for her never to go to school again. She was home schooled and she is now studying to be a nurse but that is just awful.
Poor Loopey, you are so amazing and deserve all the love in the world.
a) he was a toy first, a dog second.
b) Sebastian is a French name?
