Who Hates Ya, Baby? Page 12

I'm the same... I've developed from being a very weak and scared bullied girl, to being over-confident and I guess could be seen as arrogant... but literally because I never ever want to be treated with such disrespect and disdain again. Unfortunately, my over-confidence makes me seem mean sometimes.

You know there's some very wealthy men who'd pay you to be mean and self confident. Might have to invest in some knee high boots.....

The age-old adage that bullies are essentially low in self-esteem is true.

Which is why bullies shit themselves when someone stands up to them. They bully because they're weak and scared of the world. They should be treated with care and taught how to love themselves.

Unless they're bullying you of course, in which case you should headbutt them as hard as you can.

I would never wish harm on someone, but I know I've said some terrible things.

Pleased

Works in theory. But the one time I stood up for my self I was headbutted. So some people are just c**ts.

I've never been mean to you Bulb Head.

Keep going it's only pain, but they're getting humiliated.
Just wandering if any of those kids stabbed to death, were just standing up for themselves?

There is always that. Never happened to me though - but I didn't usually give them chance to gain any ground - it was 5 seconds of calling me "spotty" or something, followed by several punches.

It's not aomething I'd do now, I'm a man of peace, man! But I'd never discourage any kid to stand up to bullies forcefully. It got me through school reltaively mental scar-free.

Bullying also happens at the other end of the age spectrum. An awful lot of old people in this country are victimised and persecuted, often by horrible f**king children. Are they supposed to fight back?

No, but if you can, do.

Poison. Poison their Milky Bar Buttons.

Sadly not, there are so many old, unwell or learning disabled adults out there who's lives are blighted by kids bullying them.
Take their oyster cards away and make them do community service.
That or arm the mentally ill, a society where only the unpredictable are armed is a cautious and ergo safe society.

No, but if you can, do.

Great way to end up in prison or losing your home or if mentally unwell in a secure institution.

In the school pecking order I ranked lower than the class hamster. No surprise there. My sense of value never really recovered fom discovering that the real world has as many bullies in the workplace as school. My two strategies for dealing with signs of impending violence were self-deprecating humour and the ability to run faster and longer than my tormentors.
:)

I guess the point I'm trying to make is that there's always two sides to these stories, no one is malicious without reason.

No doubt you are correct, but whatever the bully's side of the story it is not always directly connected to the victim.

I know my bully came from a broken home. That can never justify hauling me out of my wheelchair, leaving me clinging to a post while she gave people 'goes' in it, then coming back to blow her nose in my hair and then kick me until I was black and blue and then left me collapsed in a heap in the wet playground and needing urgent medical attention.

It did make me stronger though - when I returned to school someone else tried to jump on the bandwagon and I punched her so hard in the face she flew backwards over several desks and ended up wedged between a desk and the wall.
I was pretty much ok after that.
