Richmond in the IT Crowd.

I love the whole show and everyone is really funny in it but when Richmond comes on I can't stop laughing. I think it's Fielding's best comedic role.
Peter Serafinowicz in Spaced and Black Books. The Black Books episode that he's in had my fiancee howling with laughter and me too.

On Scrubs (It's not British but I just had to add it in here) I can't help laugh at a lot of their supporting cast.

Oh yea and another nod between Boosh and IT Crowd. My favorite character on the Mighty Boosh is probably Saboo played by Richard Ayoade of IT Crowd.

William Shatner and John Cleese did brilliant spots on '3rd Rock From The Sun' - both came on and chewed the scenery like mad, had me in stitches.

Not sure if this one counts but the character of Ace Rimmer was always a favourite.

Interesting theory! But not really true.
I can see where you were going with it though.

Although I certainly wouldn't fancy a man exactly like Flashheart, no.

Flasheart was absolutely fantastic, he wasn't in any way weird.

That was the beauty of it, having a character turn up who was absolutely nothing like any other entity in the show and seeing how he interacted with people.

The fear in their eyes as Rik Mayall was stomping about was a brilliant sight to see.
