I'm sure it's only the tiniest things that make us different from each other, like are tastes in food, clothes, ect. These are what builds are personality and makes us individual. But anything else is us just being human, with our instincts n that.

Yeah I agree with that totally. Some things I think we'd do even if we'd lived on an isolated island.

Shit, I thought this was from the Kama Sutra. No wonder I only ever get the one date.

Laughing out loud

No I don't think it is. Not for the things zooo's talking about, I can't really see how you would link those types to social influences.

Well I've never had any of the dreams you lot are talking about, and have had completely different social influences.

Not completely, you haven't been living on Mars.

Well I've had completely different social influences.

Plus an extra chromosone in your political genetic makeup? :P :D

Nah, I think completely.

Well I disagree. :)

For once, you are wrong.

There's a reason for age ratings on video games and films. And that's why I'm the only one here not disturbed in the head; my parents stuck to them.

How did you get the horse in the room?

You're right to an extent, like I said.

But everyone (with some exceptions, evidently) has the dream that they are falling, and then they wake up with a jolt.

What on earth does that have to do with 18 certificate films and video games?

In fact I think they mentioned it on QI once and someone said it was something to do with when we slept in trees... or something.

That's the sort of thing I'm referring to. Not disturbing dreams or scary ones influenced by exposure to violence or horror.

Quote: Gavin @ January 25 2009, 5:35 PM GMT

No.

I knew you'd say that. :D

Well, yes, things like that do have an effect on (most peoples') psyche and personality and that.

Do you find clowns scary?

And I already mentioned that.
